As a Social Media Specialist, I not only planned out the daily social content, but also designed it using Canva. Additionally, I also oversaw and refined our in-app product items using research, and coordinating with the technology and customer support departments. Working at Jassby allowed me to wear multiple hats and combine research and social media, which I loved.
As an Intern, I clipped press releases, updated media lists, and drafted social media posts for hospitality clients. I learned how public relations and social media intersected in the marketing world.
As a Sofar Boston Crew member or Event Staff, I usually emcee, work the guest list, am in charge of socials, or am the show lead for that particular night. I enjoy working in teams as well as public speaking, and creating a music community. As part of Sofar Crew, I also help bridge the gap between artists and guests.
I managed both the Instagram and Facebook pages for Boston Common Coffee at the same time I worked as a Barista there. Since I worked behind the counter, I understood what the customers wanted to see on social media and I applied that when creating original content for Boston Common Coffee.
At Kel & Partners, I helped with the outbound monitoring of our technology and flooring clients, as well as drafted responses and identified potential customers and businesses that would be interested in our clients. Interning at K&P allowed me to learn more about the behind the scenes about followers and influencers.
When I was a Marketing Intern for I Do Wedding, they didn’t have a social strategy and did not post on social media regularly. I experimented with different types of content and times to figure out when the company would get the highest engagement. After a month, I had increased engagement on Instagram by 62% and Facebook by 68%.
As the Digital Marketing Executive for Stoppress, I not only created written content but also social content for our health and music clients, along with content for Stoppress itself.
